Why do we charge for an initial consultation:

Businesses offering a FREE "CV Review" use it as a marketing tool to win business; there is nothing wrong with this. However, your CV is put through some off-the-shelf ATS software that generates a report, and there's your free CV report. There is little to no value in this; it's a waste of time and effort.

Our CV reviews are done in person in real time (over Teams, Zoom, etc.) with a knowledgeable consultant who breaks down each section of your CV. We also discuss the broader picture of your goals and challenges and offer practical advice on overcoming them. Most people make the necessary changes and do the recommended actions themselves without needing to use us after this call.

Lastly, we work on a quality, not quantity, basis; we do not want to work on a mass volume basis; we are happy to take on only a couple of clients each month as this ensures the quality remains high, and we also know that clients who are willing to pay for an initial consultation are serious, dedicated and are willing to see the system through to completion and are more likely to see results.

What countries do you cover?

Our clients are worldwide, which we love as it gives us knowledge of international markets. Some frequent client countries include the UK, USA, France, Spain, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Monaco, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Do you pass work to 3rd parties?

No, all of our work on your documents and online profile is done in-house. We do not share or pass on work to freelance consultants to complete, as we want full control over the quality of our work and client cycle.

I already have a great CV. Do you offer your LinkedIn /coaching services separately?

If a client already has a great CV and wants to use it to optimise their LinkedIn profile and /or provide them with career coaching or the job dashboard providing their CV is of a high standard, we will be open to offering these services ah hoc, and this will be reflected in the price.

Do you use AI?

AI is an incredible tool, and we are sure that in the future, this will play a leading role in document creation. However, having tested the programs available, we believe that they are just not quite there yet in terms of being able to write like a human, especially when it comes to complex content. So everything we write is done by people for people.

Can clients visit?

Yes, we are based in the heart of Central London and welcome clients on an appointment-only basis. We often socialise and share in our client's success with a few drinks in the local area.

What's this online job dashboard? I've not seen this offered by any other business.

So that our clients can monitor their progress against their set targets and objectives, we build each client a custom-built online dashboard where job applications can be stored, and metrics can be reviewed. If the client wishes, we can also log in at set times to monitor and review a client's progress and advise accordingly. It's a great way to keep our clients on track.

What about privacy, confidentiality and security?

We take privacy, confidentiality, and security seriously. All our servers and IT infrastructure conform to AES standards (the gold standard). CVs and related documents are built on offline systems and then transferred/ sent to the client upon completion. We can also hold master copies of documents for clients on request, and these are held offline in secure "cold storage" and only retrieved and used when needed. Lastly, we do not post across social media, our website, or other media regarding our clients or their business.

Where is your phone number?

Only clients we work with get our contact number and a dedicated email address, as we do not have time to field general phone or cold calls.

Can I see actual proof of your success?

Sure, we are so confident in our work and success; you can download our list of clients we have worked with over the past 4 years (of course, with personal information redacted). You'll find we are the only business that offers this level of transparency and success.
